"The Seven Mansions of Color" is a collection of sketches demoed between 2015 and 2019. The tracks are comprised of quick instances mostly recorded live, with various instrumentation including kalimba, guitar, synthesizers and many, many effects configurations.

After reviewing over a terabyte of unused and otherwise forgotten material, "The Seven Mansions of Color" was pieced together to create a linear narrative by sewing passages and other oddities together in strains of short melodic islands in short form.

In the tradition of most Softwoods material - each loop or phrase is a dedicated existing space, living and breathing.

The album art is a scan of a polaroid found on the shelf in the image itself, from a second hand store that no longer exists.
